It's a big release every console generation for nintendo and ultimate is the third best selling game on the switch, higher then even botw If there's a game that they think they can sneak that price tag, smash is one of them Modes like smash run and city trial from air ride already kind of feature roguelike elements before that term became mainstream Though in that sense, a spiritual successor to smash run might likelier be the roguelike mode than the adventure mode
It really depends on what modes the next smash prioritizes but roguelike elements in general i can.
Smash ultimate has many amazing songs but, on the whole, the game feels less concerned about its aesthetic identity
